4. Children and staff are the only individuals to enter the instructional area.
5. If your family vacations out of the state during the school year, it is recommended by the Governor and Maryland Department of Health that your child has a negative COVID-19 test result or self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to school.

We believe a child's preschool education is a cooperative effort between the school, the child, and the parents.  We will work with your child to create an educational, and fun way to learn.  There will be opportunities for parents to be involved with the curriculum and special school events - field trips, celebrations, and special family events
"Children are a gift from God, they are a reward from Him." - Psalm 127:3 -
The school surroundings are essential in providing a safe education experience for your child.  We also explore God's special gifts in nature through hands-on experimentation.  It is our conviction to provide basic Christian principles in a safe educational environment!

Education of the Whole Child

Your child's academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth id our top priority.  We will teach with hands on opportunities.  We have bi-weekly yoga instruction, daily devotion time, creative art projects, morning music time, and outdoor activities.  Manners are important to our center; taking turns, use of words and joint cooperation to handle conflicts.  We believe that every child is a special gift from God, this Christ-centered play school will provide a learning experieince that will allow them to learn through play
We teach the children that God wants us to "Love one another..." - John 13:34 -
Throughout the year, the school takes on different missions.

Meet the Teachers!

Wendy Smith

Director and 2-3 year old teacher
I truly believe that children are a gift from God and each one has their own special gifts and talents. Through their learning experience here at Precious Times, I want to grow their self confidence so these gifts and talents can shine.

My goal as a teacher is to create an environment of learning through play and exploration and to always show my students the love of Jesus. – Proverbs 22:6 AMP

Cindy Wallace

As a play school teacher my goal is to model the Christian faith while providing a safe and welcoming learning environment. Through play, art, music and centers. I strive to create a fun and engaging play school experience that offers each child the opportunity to learn about God’s love and grace while exploring the world around them.
